Stroll the waterfront, shop till you drop in Ontario's shopping capital, catch a show or hit the links for 18 holes...the action never stops in Mississauga!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Get outside and explore Mississauga's more than 480 parks and woodlands. Opportunities for making the most out of the area's green spaces are endless and change with the seasons: cycling, in-line skating, tennis and soccer
in summer; cross-country skiing, ice skating and tobogganing in winter.

The Waterfront Trail is more than 650 km (400 miles) long and runs along the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River, stretching from Niagara-on-the-Lake all the way to the Quebec border. In Mississauga, the 22 km (15-mile) trail stretches from Etobicoke Creek through to the Oakville border.

At Jack Darling Park,  you can try your hand at windsurfing or canoeing, soak up the sun on the beach, hit the tennis courts, play a game of baseball or cool off at the splash pad.

Avid fishermen populate J.C. Saddington Park (53 Lake St.). Located at the mouth of the Credit River, the area is rich in Chinook salmon and steelhead, as well as coho, pink and Atlantic salmon. Each year nearly 25,000 chinook salmon and 10,000 steelhead fill the river, providing ample chances to make that perfect catch.

Boaters take note of Credit Village Marina  in Port Credit and Lakefront Promenade Marina. Both first-rate facilities provide rental and docking space.
